In a victory for President Obama’s health care overhaul, the reform passed its first Federal appeal and took a step toward being a law.

A panel in Cincinnati has ruled in favor of the law, and is allowing it to continue forward. the health care reform, which still draws fiery criticism from opponents, proposes that every American be required to have a minimum amount of health care.

Opponents of the courts decision have vowed to challenge this propel all the way up to the Supreme Court, if necessary. More than 30 appeals and lawsuits have been filed in order to stop the law, with the majority of them failing to take hold and prevent it.

In an interesting twist, this decision marks the first time that a Republican federal appointee has agreed with the validity and merits of the law. Opponents of the law have generally been shocked to find such a positive ruling from said official, but vow to keep fighting anyway.

An umbrella organization made up of major providers and major player in the health care debate called the plan “unfeasible” and announced that 90% of their members would not be participating in propose changes.

It is expected that the administration will quickly back off on this point, due to the overwhelming response that is being put forward by this group of organization.

This will undoubtedly have long term ramifications, and will greatly damage President Obama’s ability to push through with his plan.

I recognize that too few Americans have full access to health care. However, Democrats are rushing through this.

Health Care reform has the potential to become one of those federal decisions in our nation’s history that strays from American ideals (like Roosevelt’s New Deals). Many are comparing it to Roe v. Wade. The two are as similar as they are different.

Obama was looking for a bi-partisan solution to our current health care situation. Bi-partisan support is the only way to make significant alterations in federal policy like this.

Ultimately, that was just a show. Ultimately, the only bi-partisan aspect of the health care bill that made it’s way through the House this weekend was the group that voted ‘Nay’.

In contrast, every single representative on the consenting end was a Democrat. Why are Democrats so keen to sprint through something that needs careful deliberation?

The answer is simple: Congress is about to head home for this year, and next year Democrats be focusing all their attention to their own re-election instead of on crucial legislation that will change the social face of our nation.

These selfish officials, elected to serve their constituents, are more deeply concerned with saving their own careers than they are with the present and future condition of our nation.

Imagine George Washington’s response to these self-serving scoundrels. What would John Adams, Roger Sherman, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, or James Madison say to these deserters?

According to, Kimberley Strassel, a Wall Street Journal editorial columnist, getting the bill to pass took the same underhanded politics Obama promised wouldn’t be a part of his presidency. “It was dirty deals, open threats, broken promises and disregard for democracy that pulled ObamaCare to this point, and [Sunday] the same machinations pushed it across the finish line,” she writes.

In an effort to sway wavering Democrats, President Obama flew to Pennsylvania (home to five uncertain House Democrats), Missouri (three uncertain), Ohio (eight), and Virginia (four) to hold rallies with small, supportive crowds. In four days, Obama held 64 meetings or calls with congressmen.

The goal was to let undecideds know that the president had them in his crosshairs, that he still had pull with the base, and he’d use it against them. By Saturday the tactic had yielded yes votes from at least half the previously undecided members of those states.

Yes, we see this as bad policy enacted by antidemocratic means. That’s because it is. “Deem and Pass” is not the way legislation in our country works.

Find out how your representative voted.

Find out how this bill would affect you if passed.

The CBO, or Congressional Budget Office, just announced today that the Baucus healthcare bill will not add to the deficit and will cost $829 billion over the next 10 years. We of course know that this will cost about $3 trillion over the next 10 years as their numbers are always wrong. But that aside, its much better news than the first bill we got a look at over the summer. What’s the difference between the two? The public option.

The bill Max Baucus has produced from the Senate Finance Committee does not have a public option. Oddly, it is the ONLY bill in any committee of Congress that the CBO says will not add to the deficit. This puts Obama in a pickle. He promised not to raise taxes. He promised not to pass a bill that raises the deficit. And he promised healthcare for all. So which promise will he break do you think?

I hope for everyone’s sake he throws out the public option and just allows insurance companies to compete nationally for our business. There are ways to get everyone covered without a public option that either adds to the deficit or raises taxes on the middle class. Democrats can’t have everything they want, so they have to choose. Voters- make them pay in the mid terms. Make them pay for their irresponsibility. Make them pay for their ignorance. Vote them out in 2010.

It has now been plastered all over the media. During Obama’s speech to Congress, Rep. Joe Wilson (R)-SC, yelled “you lie!” at Obama. So who is the crazy one? We wanted to find out, and guess what we found? The erratic, jeering shout from the Congressman was not the lie here, it was the smooth talking, always eloquent Barack Hussein Obama. He said they are going to come down hard on those who lie about his proposal? Oh yeah? So what is he going to do to himself after lying to the American people with a straight face?

Mr. Wilson made his remark on the heels of Obama’s claim that no federal dollars would fund abortions and no illegal immigrants would receive tax payer money for their healthcare. Really? What bill was he talking about? It just so happens that only one month ago, Republicans TRIED to get two ammendments into the bill- one to prohibit federal tax dollars from funding abortions, and one to prohibit illegals from obtaining tax payer dollars to fund their healthcare. Guess who voted BOTH of them down? You got it, idiotic, stupid, comminazi, liberal Democrats.

So why is Obama so reassuring about this? The bills right now all have language to allow for both things he said are not allowed. Is he going to rewrite the bill? Will the White House write its own legislation on that one and have these items covered? Because it sure as heck isn’t the case right now.

How about another lie from this moron about this crazy law? He said he is sick of people saying the bill will create government workers who are going to kill off the elderly. What the insane?!?!?! Who on earth is saying that? Great Straw Man Mr. President, create a fictitious argument and slay it with the sword of truth and candor. Well done.

The truth is, the bill has a clause that requires, even pays, doctors to perform “end of life counseling” every five years or after any major medical procedure for those over the age of 55 or 65 or something. So when Obama stood there and boldly defeated an invented argument, why didn’t he use the chance to simply explain what “end of life counseling” actually means? Because it sounds to me that you are paying doctors to discuss life ending treatments. People should use their faith leader and family to make those decisions, not a paid doctor.

More crazy crap from crazy Obama. I applaud Joe Wilson for speaking his mind, even if it wasn’t tactful. Now Obama got a small taste of what a townhall might feel like if the media wasn’t wrapped around his little finger.

Why on earth is this so complicated? Do we need a 1,000 page bill to fix healthcare? NO! We don’t need stupid lobbyists and other extremists writing bills. That’s what we pay Congress to do. This is not that difficult. Identify the problem. Identify the source of the problem. Fix the source and you fix the problem!

What is the problem with healthcare? It costs too much and not everyone has it. Ok, why does it cost so much? Because the health insurance companies have been given free reign to do as they please. Doctors run billions of tests to do everything possible to avoid those malpractice lawsuits. Not everyone has insurance. Ok, how many don’t? Why don’t they? Is it because they are young and just don’t want it? Is it because they are illegally in this country? Is it because they can’t afford it?

Seems like an easy fix to me. Change the law regarding malpractice lawsuits so that doctors don’t have to jump through millions of hoops to diagnose a cough. They won’t give you 10 x-rays and MRIs just to be safe anymore. That lowers costs. Next, let insurance companies compete! You can’t get health insurance out of state right now like you can auto insurance. Imagine if only residents of Maryland could use Geico! Sounds laughable, but that’s how health insurance works. Lift that ban and let companies compete nationally.

That will drive down costs in two ways. First, you have many more companies competing, and we all know capitalism works at its finest when businesses compete. Second, with a lot more customers, insurance companies pool their risk into much larger groups, meaning they can take on more people for less because they statistically know that a certain percentage will never file a catastrophic claim.

Problem two, access to healthcare. Well, if they don’t buy it because they don’t want it, that’s their problem. If they don’t have it because they illegally live here, then they should leave. If they don’t have it because they can’t afford it, making the above changes makes it much more affordable. But what about those who have pre-existing conditions, like pregnancy or terminal cancer? Insurance companies don’t want to insure someone they know will cost a lot of money ahead of time.

That’s the compromise. Let the liberals have that one. Force insurance companies to insure anyone and everyone who applies. Failure to do so results in a fine. Just the way the liberals love it.

Does any of this require government intervention? Does any of it involve a public option? Does it involve raising taxes? NO, NO and NO! Why won’t those left wing lunatics just do what is so obvious? Is there a hidden agenda? The answer is a resounding yes.

With so simple a solution to healthcare, one must wonder why Congress doesn’t even bring it up. Conservatives do, but conservatives are not the majority in Congress. What is the real agenda here? Why the need for taxes and a public option? One reason- socialism. Liberals want nothing more than to have government control more and more of our lives. And guess what? They’re the ones in power, so if government is controlling more aspects of our lives, then LIBERALS are controlling more aspects of our lives. Isn’t it reassuring to think Nancy Pelosi is making decisions about your life for you?

We say enough government intervention already! Do what needs to be done and move on. This should be so obvious. Congress seems smart neough to recognize the BCS is violating anti-trust laws, why can’t they see the even more obvious solutions to healthcare?

It is now common knowledge that Al Gore, supreme environmentalist of the universe, was indeed the inventor of the internet. Ironically, making the internet run takes a lot of power, which negatively affects the environment. I wonder how Mr. Gore would feel to know that he contributed so much to “global warming.” But I digress, the important issue facing us today isn’t who invented the internet, it’s who is looking out for us to make it better. Thanks to Obama and his liberal creampuffs in the Senate, the Chosen One may have a lot of power over the internet.

The new legislation allows the president to “declare a cybersecurity emergency” relating to “non-governmental” computer networks and make a plan to respond to the danger. If that doesn’t make sense, think of this example. On 9/11, George Bush grounded all flights across the entire country. No planes were allowed in the air. This was because of the obvious danger planes posed to this country on that day.

Well now, let’s say some big time hacker decides to write a virus that goes through the internet into big databases looking for Social Security numbers, health records, financial records, etc. If the internet protection industry can’t stop it, well, Mr. Obama can then pull the plug on the internet. No, literally, it’s in the Oval Office, the plug for the internet. All he has to do is unplug it and “poof!” No more internet. Very comforting thought.

Here’s my question. Since the term “cybersecurity emergency” is undefined in the bill, who defines it? Is it a cyberemergency when Obama’s healthcare plan is getting bashed? Is it a cybersecurity emergency when conservative commentators disagree with the White House? Just think of the glorious possibilities for the liberal buffalo terds. They can shut up anyone at anytime on the internet. I don’t see any obvious way that can possibly breach our freedom of speech. Better hope this one doesn’t pass, or the vague language of the bill gives Obama more power than any charismatic communist should have.

A new study by economist Mark Wilson suggests that Obamacare could hurt employment. The play-or-pay mandate, as it is called, requires businesses to offer health insurance to their workers or face federal fines. The study finds that 5.2 million people would become unemployed or underemployed as a result. Another 10.2 million will face stunted wages and loss of benefits as their employers would struggle to fund the mandates. Typical liberal hogwash…make those with money pay for the services used by those without money.

I am sick and tired of the crapshoot the liberals are trying to create out of healthcare. Medicare is bankrupt; the government clearly has no business running a public health insurance option. The government can’t run a bank, a car company, a health insurance provider or anything else. Heck, the government is absolutely awful at running the government!

Why would anyone put their faith in our crazy government to run any part of healthcare in this country? Why does Obama keep reassuring me that his new bill won’t affect me? It certainly will when private insurance companies cannot compete with the government. When they all start to tank and we all have to go tot he public option, Obama, in his messianic benevolence, will demand that we create a universal, socialized healthcare system for all of us. You know, like that great system they have in Great Britain.

Only a fool couldn’t see where this is going. Obama and his liberal cronies are leading this country to socialism, plain and simple. Buying banks, buying GM, running a public option…it’s pretty clear at this point. On top of it all, Attorney General Eric Holder thinks we don’t have the right to bear arms unless in the militia. I bet the liberals would love that- an unarmed, brainwashed mob of suppressed Americans who are equal in all things. You think I’m joking? Then you don’t know the left wing nut jobs running this country and what they are hell bent on accomplishing. Just wait and see…

-Secret Congressional Motto

No word strikes greater fear in my heart than ‘government.’ You may have heard the story of a guy named Midas. He had a pretty cool blessing/curse bestowed upon him. Everything he touched turned to gold. Hence, people like Mitt Romney and others are said to posses the “Midas Touch.” Now, think of the exact opposite of that…you’ve got our crazy government. Everything they touch turns to rotten, putrid filth. The government could take over a landfill and still find a way to make it filthier.

Now the government is going too far. With Obama in office and liberal Democrats ruining, I mean running, this country, they are trying to do too much. No one is taking away my guns, ruining, I mean running, healthcare, raising my taxes or bailing out anyone else. Our crazy government has overstepped their constitutional bounds and its time to stop.

This blog will be devoted to exposing the frauds, liars and cheats who are ruining, er, I mean, running, this country. Democrat, Republican, LIbertarian, Independent…it’s all the same. Politicians simply cannot be trusted. We will explain why conservative thinking and conservative policies can get us back on track. We will tell you every time we catch a politician lie to you, steal from you, or wrong you in any way. Our crazy government needs some political watchdogs, and here we are.
