Health Care Reform

By ConcernedConservative on November 10, 2009

The health care reform bill made it through the House this Saturday night.  None of us were too surprised, because the Liberals do out number us in the House.

What is suprising is the vote that “Republican” Anh Cao cast.  Cao was the ONLY Republican to vote in favor of the bill.

The bill passed by 220-215

The bill passed by a 220-215 vote.  Not only did Cao’s vote mean that the Republicans can not fight the passing of the bill with their unanimous rejection, but the Liberals are now going to start claiming that they have bipartisan support.

Even more interesting is the fact that Obama has been meeting with Cao consistently these past few weeks.  Apparently Obama even offered economic assistance to Cao’s district which is mainly comprised of poor minorities.

Cao tried to rationalize his vote claiming that he did not support any taxpayer funded abortions.

Cao may have his head on straight about abortions, but he is cray if he thinks it is okay for him to call himself a Republican and vote yes for this health care bill.

He may claim to be a Republican, but his political affiliation has thus far been proved to be vastly different than Republican.
