Obama’s Job Summit

By ConcernedConservative on November 12, 2009

Oh, great, Obama is holding a summit about jobs, because more talk is the way to solve the problem.  In what appears to be a PR move, Obama is trying to cover his bases as the economy continues to decline and unemployment steadily rises.  Supposedly, the summit is going to be CEOs small-business owners, economists, and of course: labor unions.  How is this going to help anything other than Obama’s faltering public image?  Already Obama’s approval ratings are going down in terms of his economic policies and health care reforms.

Obamas Job Summit - talk is cheap

I suggest Obama actually produce the jobs he promised instead of talking to select CEOs and labor unions in December.  It isn’t their fault Obama’s $787 billion dollar stimulus plan didn’t go towards those needed new jobs, well, maybe it is.  Those vacationing trips using private jets and  taxpayers’ money

Unemployment reached 10.2% this October.  Obama, I hate to break it to you, but the stimulus plan just dug us a bigger pit to fall in.

This political cartoon shows how a job summit should be run if it has to.  If you think rehashing the economic problems will solve them, please go out the right door.  The rest of the small-business owners and economists will take the left door and get something done!

I love this post and totally agree. Obama is full of tons and tons of talk and no useful ACTION! When is the economy going to pick up and when is Obama going to live up to all his promises?!

I totally love this political cartoon. It is so true. when is Obama going to actually do something useful. My friend and I were just discussing the other day how it has been a full year since Obama has been president and yet he still hasn’t done anything that I would call noteworthy. We needs to “DO” something! too much talk. eck
